How moderation works
Moderation is part of the product, not an afterthought. The goal is to keep conversations casual, legal, and respectful.
Reports are reviewed with context
When a matched-chat report is made, VibeSwipe saves the report reason, a single still image from the moment of the report, and a short recent chat snippet.
That context helps moderators make a fair decision and reduces abuse from empty or accidental reports.
Repeated reports can trigger temporary bans
If different users report the same device within a short window, VibeSwipe can apply an automatic temporary ban. This is designed to slow obvious abuse quickly.
Moderators can still review reports and decide whether a ban was correct.
Help requests are built in
A banned user can open Help, create a request, and use the generated code to check replies. The conversation can continue until either side closes it.
This keeps appeal and support flow inside the site instead of relying on email.
