VibeSwipe works best when conversations stay casual, legal, and respectful.
Adults only, 18 or over
VibeSwipe is for adults. By entering you confirm you are 18 or older. Age is self-declared and we cannot verify it, so if someone appears to be a minor, leave and report immediately rather than continuing. This applies the same way in video chat and in chat only.
No nudity or sexual behaviour
Stay clothed and keep it non-sexual. This includes partial nudity, sexual acts, and sexual talk directed at someone who has not invited it. Typing it counts the same as showing it, so chat only is not a way around this. It is enforced with bans rather than warnings.
No harassment, hate or threats
No abuse, slurs, threats, intimidation or bullying, and no going after people for their race, religion, disability, nationality, gender or sexuality. Disagreeing with someone is fine. Making them feel scared or small is not.
A no is the end of it
If someone says no to a topic, a question or a request, that is the answer. Asking again in different words is pressure, and repeating it after a clear no is worth reporting. Nobody owes you a reason for leaving.
Protect your own details, and theirs
We only ever show a rough region. Never share your address, workplace, school or exact location, and do not push anyone else for theirs. On camera, check what is behind you too, because deliveries, post and logos give away more than people think. In chat only the same details leak through what you type, so treat a typed answer as carefully as a visible one.
No recording or screenshots without consent
Do not record, screenshot or stream another person without their agreement, and never share such material. Messages count here as well, so do not post someone else's conversation anywhere. We cannot technically prevent any of it, which is exactly why it is a bannable rule and why you should assume any frame or line could be captured.
Be yourself
No pre-recorded video, no playing footage of someone else, and no pretending to be a specific real person. On camera that means the picture should show you, now. In chat only it means the person typing is you, and not a bot or a script. Impersonation and looped video are removed when reported.
No spam, scams or promotion
No advertising, no links, no recruiting for other platforms, and no asking for money, gifts or crypto. Anyone who moves you to another app and then asks you to pay for something is running a scam. Leave and report it.
Nothing illegal
No illegal activity, no content involving minors, no selling banned goods, and nothing that would be a crime offline. Serious cases get a permanent ban, and you cannot appeal those through support.
Report and block. It is how this works
Block preview cards before you match, and in a matched chat report or block the moment something is off. Press report while the problem is still there, because the evidence is captured at that instant. In video that is a still frame, and in chat only it is the recent messages. Reports are read by a person, and separate reports about the same account carry real weight.
